Do you know, what gunships are? Gunships are attack helicopters used to provide support for the ground troops. Gunships first appeared in World war II. The appearance of gunships reshaped the battlefield drastically. Ground troops now have air support, troop transportation is easier. The world has only seen 27 different types of gunships. Deciding 10 was difficult. Here goes the list;

This Russian gunship is one fastest of the most maneuverable, all-weather helicopters. This agile and lethal beast is also known as “Alligator”. Well, can’t complain about that.

The AH-64E is an upgraded version of the AH-64A. The 64A was developed to replace the AH-1 Cobra.Boeing AH-64E Apache Guardian The Guardian showed its capabilities during some recent wars. This gunship can fire Hellfire 2 in fire-and-forget mode. Hellfire 2 is an anti-tank guided missile. The Guardian the most advanced out there. When the Guardian enters the battlefield, be aware of its wrath.
